Prior Weston on BBC London - 4th September 2019

At Prior Weston, we are proud of our creative stripes, commitment to culture, music, the arts and our work with London Music Masters, and were very pleased to see the news segment aired on BBC London earlier this week, in which Prior Weston and London Music Masters were featured.

The news team interviewed LMM Executive Director, Rob Adediran, which was filmed as part of Sheku KannehMason's visit to Prior Weston School, earlier this year, and highlighted the benefits of music in education while questioning why arts subjects are being squeezed out of the school curriculum.

We would like to say a big well done to all the children, parents and staff who are involved in both instrument lessons and musicianship across the school.

"The teaching of phonics has improved since the previous inspection. There is now a clear structure to the way sounds are being taught, and pupils learn more quickly than in the past"
